Sky High for Kids hosted their annual West Texas Banquet and Sporting Clay Tournament on Thursday, September 7 and Friday, September 8, garnering an astounding $840,000 to support children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening conditions.
On Thursday, Sept. 7, the Bush Convention Center shimmered with guests donning elegant western attire – their looks complete with intricately designed cowboy boots and captivating rustic hats. The event kicked off with a vibrant cocktail hour, where philanthropists mingled and connected with like-minded individuals. As the evening unfolded, attendees took their seats for an elegantly presented dinner, perfectly setting the stage for the touching speeches that ensued. The emcee of the evening, Taylor Sass, took the stage, eloquently addressing the significance of Sky High for Kids’ overarching mission and the remarkable impact it has on the lives of children and families facing challenging health battles, a press release said.
