Our team creates tailored packages for patients. No two patient packages are the same and include special for not only the patient but for the entire family. Some include crafts, activities and snacks while others include books, blankets, clothes and other necessities. While the gifts are small in size, we know they have a big impact on the patient families.
We are working through the many Patient Pack requests we have received. Due to a large influx of submissions, we can no longer accept any new applications until January 2022.
Tie for Sky High
Part of our mission at Sky High is to provide comfort for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Each year, hundreds of children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House Memphis and Texas Children’s Cancer Center receive a warm, fuzzy blanket that was hand-tied by volunteers just like you! If your group is interested in hosting a Tie for Sky High event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Raise money for Sky High by donating your ponytail.
Are you interested in donating your hair to a child in need AND raising money for Sky High in the process? Let us help you out! We will create an online fundraiser for you to and you take the wheel from there! Call your family, text your friends, and let you Instagram followers know what you’re doing! Donating your hair is a big deal! Contact email@example.com to get started today!
Drink. Pull. Save. Collect your pop tabs throughout the year and donate them to Sky High, and we will pass them onto the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis. The Ronald McDonald House of Memphis earns over $25,000 each year from can pop tabs alone.
Here’s How It Works:
Collect Pop Tabs at home, work, school, church or in your community organization.
You have two choices for drop-off
If you’re in the Houston area, you can drop them off at the Sky High office and we’ll be happy to recycle them for you – 9800 Richmond Ave Suite 335 Houston, Texas 77042.
If you live out of town, you’ll need to find a scrap aluminum recycling center. Once you’ve received the cash, donate the proceeds to Sky High online or mail us a check. Make sure to enter “Pop Tabs” in the “Company or Event Affiliation” field on the donation page.

Sky High Adventures
Our Sky High Adventures Program gives pediatric cancer patients and families a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Sky High Adventures takes pediatric cancer patients and survivors on a trip of a lifetime! Want to explore the great outdoors, attend an NBA game or have a girls day out? We can help! Over the past 10 years, Sky High Adventures has hosted more than 80 families across the United States and we want your family to join us!
The Spitzer family donates and sponsors a variety of our events but one of those most special things they do is host patient families at their ranch. Brodey, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patient, and his dad flew straight from his check up at the hospital to the ranch with a clean bill of health! While at The CJ4, Spitzer’s Ranch they were given a helicopter tour of the property, attended an impromptu performance by Robert Earl Keen, and Brodey shot a ten point white tail deer. What a weekend!
Barrilleaux donated a hunt in which a donor would bid to offer a pediatric cancer patient a hunting trip of a lifetime. It was donated at Sky High’s and Crestwood Equity Partner’s Inaugural Boot & Shoot Banquet and raised $45,000 to benefit our mission but most importantly provide a weekend getaway for a special kid. Invited pediatric cancer patient, Ethan, went home with a black buck, whitetail and a fallow deer. Cancer is a cause very near to donor, Glenn Barrilleaux’s heart and as underwent treatment himself in 2016. He and Ethan bonded over their shared diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Overall it was a great weekend!
