Childhood Cancer Warrior Spotlight: ezra

Ezra is my son, he was diagnosed with T-cell ALL Leukemia in May 2024 when he was just five years on. Now he is seven, and his journey has been one of incredible strength and faith. Since his diagnosis, he has been in treatment and faced several complications, spending time in the hospital at Cook Children’s Forth Worth, especially during the first siz months. Through it all, he has shown beautiful faith in God. While he was in the PICU, he told me that Jesus healed him, and that moment has stayed with us ever since.

Ezra is truly a fighter, but he is also one of the most loving and kind-hearted children. He brings so much light to those around him. Now, he is doing karate and really enjoys it. He loves sharks, dinosaurs, and anything creative like drawing, painting, and cutting,  This October, he will ring the bell, and we couldn’t be more proud of his courage and the joy he continues to share with everyone.
