Young Professionals Dinks & Drinks Happy Hour

On Wednesday, April 1st, nearly 30 young professionals came together at PKL Social for the Sky High for Kids DINKS & DRINKS Easter Happy Hour, an evening of networking, fun, and giving back.

Volunteers teamed up to build 100 Easter baskets for Cancer Warriors at Texas Children’s Hospital, which were delivered on Easter Sunday to bring joy and comfort to children and their families.

The event welcomed many new faces to the Sky High Young Professionals community and provided a hands-on opportunity to experience the organization’s mission in action. Special thanks to Zach Leger and Brittany Hebert Franklin for hand delivering the baskets on Easter Sunday!

The Sky High Young Professionals (YPs) is a network of emerging leaders in Houston committed to supporting the mission of Sky High for Kids. Through a combination of social events, volunteer service, and fundraising initiatives, the group engages young professionals while fostering awareness of pediatric cancer challenges.

YP members have the unique opportunity to connect with peers, build meaningful relationships, and directly impact the lives of children and families affected by Childhood Cancer. By volunteering, fundraising, and spreading awareness, Young Professionals help Sky High provide comfort, fund research, and ultimately save lives.

Sky High Young Professionals continue to combine fellowship, networking, and service, showing that giving back can be both meaningful and fun.

• June – Joint Happy Hour with YPP (Young Pipeline Professionals) – network, get your headshot, and meet other young professionals.
• August 5th – Ronald McDonald House Charities Houston Dinner.
• September – Cancer Awareness Luncheon featuring special guest speaker(s).
• October – Loose Lace Run Club X Sky High Young Professionals Event.
• October 28th – Sky High Golf Invitational at Wildcat Golf Club.
