Childhood Cancer Warrior Spotlight: Lynlee

In March of 2024, at just 4 years old, Lynlee was diagnosed with bilateral Wilms tumors. She went through 6 weeks of chemotherapy followed by a bilateral partial nephrectomy and hospital stay, then completed 7 more weeks of chemotherapy. She rang the bell loud and proud on October 10, 2024!

She continues to have follow-up appointments every 4 months for monitoring and is approaching 2 years off treatment. She is thriving! She’s now in 1st grade, making tons of new friends, and loves being a big sister, fishing with her dad, making arts and crafts, and playing with her weenie dog, Tank. She says she wants to be a kindergarten teacher when she grows up.

Lynlee has never let cancer define her or hold her back. She is the true definition of resilience, and we couldn’t be more proud of the strong, brave, and amazing girl she continues to be.
