Childhood Cancer Warrior: Hollis

Hollis is a sweet, kind, fun little boy who loves baseball, hunting, fishing, spending time with his friends and playing wiffle ball with his dad. When Hollis was 6 years old he started to get random fevers often that eventually led to him having terrible pain in his bones one evening which led us to get blood work done with his pediatrician. Hollis was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia on August 21, 2023. After that started a long journey of a 10 day hospital stay, multiple spinal taps with chemo through this spine and several chemotherapies through his chest port and oral chemotherapy Over the next 2.5 years. Even though it has been a long hard journey the lord has been so good to us and has carried us through this hard time. Hollis has been in maintenance this last year and has been doing so well. We are so thankful for all the love and support we have been shown and are so excited for Hollis end of treatment this October 27, 2025.
