CANCER WARRIOR SPOTLIGHT: ADITYA
ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL AUGUST 2025 PATIENT OF THE MONTH

While on a family vacation in India, Aditya didn’t feel well and had a fever he couldn’t seem to shake. His parents took him to a nearby hospital, where doctors thought he had dengue fever. But when his symptoms worsened, his parents rushed him back to the hospital, where bloodwork revealed the shocking news. At just 4 years old, Aditya had leukemia.
When the family returned home to Tennessee, Aditya was quickly referred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for his treatment and care. And thanks to friends like you, families like Aditya’s never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live. His parents said coming to St. Jude lifted much of the burden they had been feeling over their son’s diagnosis and treatment. They said St. Jude doctors and staff have been available to them to answer questions and provide help when needed.
“St. Jude has given us hope in a really difficult time,” his dad said. “It’s a blessing to have St. Jude.”
