More than half a million dollars was raised last month at the fourth annual Permian Basin Banquet & Sporting Clay Tournament, which benefit Sky High for Kids. The two-day event was the first in-person fundraiser of the year for the nonprofit that is on a mission to end childhood cancer, according to a press release.
“Sky High has made ambitious pledges to end childhood cancer,” founder and CEO Brittany Hebert Franklin said in the release. “We felt it was time to safely lead the community back to host in-person events to keep our mission in the forefront.”
