2024 Energy Classic Event Recap

Oil and Gas Industry Leaders: Summit Midstream, Howard Energy Partners, Pinnacle Midstream, and Navigator CO2 Unite for Sky High for Kids’ Energy Classic Fundraiser,  Raising Over $424,808 to Combat Childhood Cancer.

This year, the Summit Midstream Corporate Event joined forces with industry powerhouses Howard Energy Partners, Pinnacle Midstream, and Navigator CO2 to create the highly anticipated Energy Classic, hosted at the Greater Houston Sports Club on November 21-22, 2024. The event brought together leaders from the oil and gas industry, local community members, and passionate supporters, all united for a noble cause — to combat Childhood Cancer.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of all those involved, the Energy Classic raised an impressive $424,808, bringing the fight against Childhood Cancer one step closer to victory. The two-day event was filled with meaningful moments, starting with a VIP dinner that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. During the evening, guests were treated to a live auction, where special items and experiences were up for bid, contributing to the event’s success.

A particularly touching moment came when Brycen’s family took the stage as the Family Speaker for the event. They shared their powerful journey and personal connection to Childhood Cancer, reminding everyone why this cause is so important. One of the evening’s highlights was when Brycen was surprised with an LSU adventure, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that left the entire room moved and inspired. The heartfelt support for Brycen and other Cancer Warriors created a strong sense of community and a shared commitment to the mission.

The event also featured an amazing barbecue dinner, prepared by Larrett Energy Services for the VIP patrons. This delicious meal was the perfect complement to an evening filled with heartfelt connections and the joy of making a difference.

The sporting clay tournament followed the dinner, where teams participated in friendly competition, all rallying behind Sky High for Kids’ mission. After the tournament, the excitement continued with the tournament awards ceremony, celebrating the day’s top performers. Guests enjoyed live music by The Guzzlers, a lively band that kept the energy high, and had the chance to win fantastic raffle prizes, including a decked-out golf cart donated by Southwest Pipe USA.
